5K WALKERS You may race walk, walk, slow walk, saunter, shuffle/speed walk, power walk, but you MAY NOT RUN!
HALF MARATHON WALK Participants will have 4 hours from start time to finish but all participants will have to make it past the corner of George and Collins headed to their second lap by 9:25 am or they will be cut off at that point.
STROLLERS ARE ALLOWED! Those running with a stroller we ask to start at the back as to not impede other runners.
Animals, skate boards, roller skates/blades, & bikes are NOT ALLOWED on the race course.
Restrooms, locker rooms and showers are available at the Community Center. Restrooms also available at the Midland Curling Center. Port-a-Johns available onsite.
Kids Corner babysitting available for race participant families from 7:30 - 11:30 am. A $3 fee will be charged per family. Children must be picked up by 11:30 am.
PAD/Gun Start and Finish! The ChronoTrack Timing System and B-Tags will be used to process results for the Half Marathon, 10K, 5K Run, 5K Walk & 1 Mile races. All participants must wear tag to be scored. Tags will be given with your bib # during Packet Pick Up!
There is a four hour time limit to complete the half marathon. Runners and walkers must be past Mills & North by 9:25 AM in order to continue.
The main lot of the Greater Midland Community Center will be available for parking on Race Day. If you are not able to find parking in the main lot, please feel free to use the parking lots near the Barstow-Shipps Wing and behind the building at the Water Tower.
There are many extra parking lots scattered throughout the Community Center’s neighborhood. Please click on the map below to determine the best place for parking on Race Day. Remember, there is also on street parking available OUTSIDE of the Race Course. Streets will close down at 7:15 AM sharp for the 7:30 AM race start. Please have your parking plan in place prior to arriving on Race Day. No parking spot is too far away…you can count it as your warm up!
